Knowledge Graph

a knowledge graph is the simplest way i know to picture how ideas connect. every note is a dot, and every link between two notes is a line.
that's why my cache has no folders. a folder forces a note to live in exactly one place, but most ideas belong to a few places at once. a link doesn't care. a note about WebGL can sit next to a note about sigma.js and also connect to something completely different, and the graph just shows both.
the cool part is you don't plan it. you write notes, you link them when they remind you of each other, and the shape shows up on its own. clusters form around the things you think about most.
Obsidian has a graph view that draws this for your vault, and i built the same thing for this site. the story is in How I Built the Graph, and this whole place started from Welcome.
