this is what i actually work on, every day.
Machines
- A MacBook M4 Air (16GB Unified Memory). It goes everywhere I go.
- Claw, an HP ProOne 400 G6 All-In-One. An I5-10500, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, running Ubuntu Server.
- It lives in my dorm, runs Coolify, and hosts FC-OS. I reach it from anywhere over Tailscale.
Editor & Terminal
- Zed. It's fast, and it gets out of the way.
- Ghostty running ohmyzsh.
- Claude Code, pretty much all the time.
- Jingle on every commit. Obviously.
- SF Mono in the editor, JetBrains Mono Nerd Font in the terminal.
- Gruvbox Dark Hard on everything I can theme.
Apps
- Spotlight. I never needed/wanted anything fancier after macOS 27 dropped.
- Commandtab to get around, and stage manager when I'm locked in.
- Safari day to day, chrome when I'm building.
- Obsidian for notes.
- Figma for when I feel creative.
- Tailscale and Cloudflare WARP always on. I'd be lost without them.
Desk
- A BenQ GW2786TC monitor.
- The macbook's own keyboard. I'd love to get Apple's Magic Keyboard though.
- MacBook speakers on blast. Honestly goated.
- A BeoPlay A1 back home, since speakers aren't allowed in my dorm.
Music
- Spotify, usually for Juice WRLD or The Weeknd.
- Soundcloud for Juice WRLD unreleased.
